Spellcasting
This feature replaces the default Spellcasting feature from the casters classes.
Cantrips
At 1st level, you know the cantrips as you normally do and the rules for the cantrips remain unchanged.
Mana Points
You start with a maximum of 3 mana points + your spellcasting modifier. This is your maximum mana points. You increase your maximum mana points by 3 points every time you level up in the class with the spellcasting feature. You regain all spent mana points when you finish a long rest. You can’t have more mana points than your maximum mana points.
Revision
I had originally wrong applied the math on this rules and the value should increase by 3 on every level instead of 1. This is badly math applied from my side. What is for those who doen’t follow me so close, a regular occurence.
So thansk Martin and Gilberto for pointing out that the math wasn’t mathing.
This is the updated version.
The original
Stat Mod + (Level + 3)
While it should be:
Stat Mod + (Level * 3)
So it’s the level times 3, instead of level plus 3. Yeah, very smort of me.
Casting a Spell
Everytime you cast a spell, instad of using a spell slot, you use your mana points. The cost in mana points is equal to the spell level.
Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher
The starting spells remains the same.
Whenever you gain a level you can check the following table to see the maximum spell level you can select.

Spellcasting Ability
The spellcasting ability reamins the same.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your modifier Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your modifier
Sorcerer Spellcasting
Font of Magic
Instead of having two separated pools for Sorcerer points and mana points, they are unified.
When the sorcerer receive the font of magic, he recieved 2 extra mana points.
You can’t convert sorcerer into spells slots and vice-versa.
Any abilities that uses sorcerer points you can use mana points instead.
Revision
I haven’t tested this. But I think adding the Sorcerer level as extra mana points could work on this. But I’m a little afraid of making the Sorcerer too much better choice than the Wizard for spellcasting.
Wizard Spellcasting
Arcane Recovery
The amount keeps the same (half wizard level), but recovers mana points instead of spell slots.
Warlock
Pact Magic
You gain mana points according to your Warlock level, instead of using the base rule, the Warlock have 1 point of mana per level, and you have a maximum spell level as the normal warlock class. On a short or long rest, you can recover mana points up to the Warlock level. For example, if you are a level 7 warlock and have 3 mana points left you can recover mana points until you have 7 mana points.
You can use the following table as reference:
| Warlock Level | Mana Points | Max Level |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | 1st |
| 2 | 2 | 1st |
| 3 | 3 | 2nd |
| 4 | 4 | 2nd |
| 5 | 5 | 3rd |
| 6 | 6 | 3rd |
| 7 | 7 | 4th |
| 8 | 8 | 4th |

| 10 | 10 | 5th |
| 11 | 11 | 5th |

| 16 | 16 | 5th |
| 17 | 17 | 5th |
| 18 | 18 | 5th |
| 19 | 19 | 5th |
| 20 | 20 | 5th |
Edit
Thanks for my players to have spoted the badly math on my side. So I need to fix this one here.
