You unleash a surge of raw elemental power at a creature within range, choosing fire, cold, lightning, or acid. Use the table below to determine the saving throw based on its element.

On a failed saving throw, the target takes 8d6 damage of the chosen type. On a success, the target takes half of the damage.
Additionally, on a failed saving throw the target also receives a status effect based on it’s element:
- Fire: The target is set ablaze. While in this condition the target takes 2d6 fire damage at the start of their next turn.
- Cold: The target body become numbed. While in this condition the target’s speed is reduced by half.
- Lightning: The target becomes shocked. While in this condition the target can’t take reactions.
- Acid: The target body and armor becomes corroded. While in this condition the target’s AC is reduced by 2.
These conditions last for one minute, or until the target uses an action to end any of these conditions.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
