Ishtar’s Otherworldly Vodka

- Components: V, S, M (a potato, a drop of starlight or celestial water, and a silver shot glass worth at least 5 gp)
- Duration: Instantaneous
Using your otherworldly insight and mystical fermentation magic, you transmute simple ingredients into a single crystal-clear shot of potent magical vodka. Upon casting, choose one of the following effects. The vodka retains its potency for 24 hours or until consumed, a creature can drink the vodka as a bonus action. The effects last 10 minutes, and only one creature may benefit per casting.
Choose one of the effect:
Pure Goodness: The vodka floods the mind with warmth, washing away sorrow, fear, and regret. The creature becomes immune to being frightened or charmed for the duration. It is overwhelmed by only positive memories, any trauma, hatred, or pain is temporarily erased.
The creature becomes compelled to act with kindness: they cannot willingly harm another creature, lie, or refuse a call for aid. If the creature has no good memories, the vodka implants a powerful joyful illusion (e.g., dancing with a lost lover, hearing a child’s laughter) that it believes is real. Creatures under this effect may still defend themselves if attacked, but only with non-lethal force.
Liquid Valor: The vodka ignites boldness and primal fury. The creature gains immunity to fear and advantage on all melee attack rolls. However, they draw attention, all ranged attacks made against them have advantage as their stance becomes recklessly exposed. The creature also glows faintly with magical heat. (no mechanical effect, but very visible).
At Higher Levels: When cast using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you may create two doses instead of one, and may apply both effects to the same creature if they drink both shots on the same turn.
